100% handmade soy candles, scented with essential oils and natural fragrances | Podcast

briCandles exists to offer luxurious, whimsical 100% natural soy candles scented with essential oils and natural fragrances. Each candle is lovingly crafted to promote self-rejuvenation and ritual. The goal of briCandles is to normalize excellence by creating warm, inviting spaces that reflect your values. The scents refresh, reinvigorate and restore the balance of excellence. briCandles meets a very emotional, human need in the market. It’s not only about a lifestyle, it’s about building a life where you feel worthy, right where you are. The founder makes everything in small batches from her studio in Brooklyn, using all-natural oils and body-safe soy wax. Even the in-candle garnishes are fresh from Brionna’s local farmer’s market!

CREATOR’S CORNER: BRIONNA JIMERSON

Brionna is chronicling her entrepreneurial passions through Brionna’s Podcast “Books”, a fast-growing community that celebrates personal development through reading. The show is 50% book club, 50% personal development. We’re a community of ambitious, curious young women hungry for books and conversations that transform. In a recent episode, I chatted with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author of “They Can’t Kill Us All” Wesley Lowery about his work covering Ferguson, MO and Baltimore in the light of killings of black people at the hands of police. I also recently gushed all about Luvvie AJayi’s bestseller“I’m Judging You,” and Issa Rae’s “The Misadventures of Awkward BlackGirl.”  This millennial-focused podcast draws inspiration from Brionna’s career in media and love for all things books and personal development. She’s learning that the secret is just to prepare, START, and follow the next steps on the journey as they come.

Guided by a lifelong love for crafting and creating warm environments, Brionna Jimerson, Social Media Analyst at ABC News and founder of briCandles, fuses unique fragrance oils and all-natural soy wax to create one-of-a-kind soy candles inspired by travel, literature and a shared craving for comfort. The fall 2017 launch briCandles collection will feature capsule collections inspired by Brionna’s travels to Ubud, Bali; Vinales and Havana, Cuba, the Amalfi Coast and beyond. A literature-based candle capsule collection will feature scents dreamed up after reading various works by authors of color.
